A unifying vision for what rail wants from the supply chain

- Rufus spoke about trends affecting the supply chain, and about how our task to design a guiding mind for rail
- Rail Minister, also in attendance, emphasised the importance of rail reform
We know from our ongoing conversations with supply chain organisations that they want to innovate and deliver greater value for the c.£17bn rail spends each year.
GBRTT Passenger & Freight Services Director, Rufus Boyd, joined the Rail Forum's annual conference yesterday.
Rufus spoke about trends affecting the supply chain, from inflation to recovering demand for rail post-pandemic, and about how our task is to design a guiding mind for rail that:
- reduces the barriers to innovation
- provides clear leadership
- gives a unifying vision for what rail wants from the supply chain.
Also at the conference was the Rail Minister, who emphasised the importance of rail reform to deliver a modern, future-facing UK rail industry.
