GBRTT Lead Director seconded to Department for Transport
We’re pleased to announce that our Lead Director, Anit Chandarana, is taking up a temporary secondment at Department for Transport (DfT) as the Rail Infrastructure Group's interim Director General.
This brings the GBRTT and DfT teams closer together and will maximise the benefits of rail reform ahead of legislation and the formation of Great British Railways. It’s also a further demonstration of the political commitment to rail reform.
Anit will be returning, but we’ll let you know a decision about cover for his role as soon as possible.
